NexusV v1.1 - Quality Update

This one is all about making NexusV feel faster and less dig-through-menus for everyday packing. Drop archives straight from Explorer, Companion rain without wrecking your weather, and inputs that actually look readable again. Big thanks to everyone testing - keep the feedback coming.

v1.1 - Quality Update

  • NexusV is on v1.1 now - splash screen + logo on startup so it doesnt just sit on a blank window.
  • Added Windows Explorer right-click integration with one NexusV submenu: install DLC archive, convert folder, convert selected files.
  • First launch asks if u want Explorer integration installed, and u can still toggle it anytime under Settings.
  • Archive auto-install for zip / rar / 7z - drop em in, multi-select works, installs run one after another in a single window.
  • Archives with multiple dlc.rpf inside get a picker so u choose what to install before it continues.
  • NexusV Companion got Weather / Time / Misc pages - cycle weather, freeze time, clear wanted, repair vehicle, denser traffic options and more.
  • Rain toggle is rain FX only now - keep clear / extrasunny sky and still rain. Leaving Rain/Thunder turns it off again unless u forced it yourself.
  • Force puddles + lock weather so the game stops fighting your vibe.
  • Fixed dark text inputs that were white-on-white or clipped - username setup, Gen9 paths, settings, search, all that.
  • Patreon Join / Open links now point to the real page: patreon.com/cw/NexusFive.
  • Couple of reliability fixes on Explorer submenu registration, multi-file handoff into one installer, and Companion natives for current ScriptHookVDotNet3.

v1.0.0 - First Stable Build

  • Its official now, NexusV is on v1.0.0, our first stable build ever since everything runs clean at the moment.
  • Rebranded the whole thing from Nexus Five into NexusV, everywhere inside the app and on the sites too.
  • Added a new Gen8 to Gen9 for Enhanced (dlc.rpf) card in Extras - just pick a legacy dlc.rpf and it converts the whole pack into a Gen9 ready dlc.rpf for GTAV Enhanced in one go, no more doing every single file by hand.
  • It extracts the whole dlc.rpf into a temp folder, upgrades every supported car and map asset in place, and repacks it, so the structure, content.xml and nested rpfs stay intact.
  • Rebuilt the DLC Merger from scratch - it used to crash all the time, now it reuses the same proven car/map conversion logic so merging cars works great.
  • Merging now drops everything into a temp folder first (NV-1, NV-2 ...) and combines them into one clean dlc.rpf like a normal conversion.
  • Fixed the Patreon login that broke after the rebrand - old tokens and config get migrated over so u dont get locked out anymore.
  • Renamed the repo to NexusV and release builds are now named clean like NexusV v1.0.0.exe instead of that long title mess.
  • Telegram links stay the same as before, didnt touch those.

Clothes Converter + UI Cleanup

  • Added full Clothes conversion mode into the main Converter.
  • Ported the EUP renaming logic into Nexus, so clothes packs can be converted into proper Legacy / Enhanced ready names.
  • Added slot boxes for all clothes categories, plus a Set all slot numbers box so u dont need to change every number one by one.
  • Added optional singleplayer dlc.rpf creation for clothes packs.
  • Added generated YMT support for clothes DLCs, so the dlc.rpf is not just packed loose files.
  • Added optional metadata for hats, hair, masks, heels, and first-person variants.
  • Added optional auto-install for generated clothes dlc.rpf packs.
  • Manual clothes conversion still keeps Clothing/ and Props/, DLC mode now leaves only packname/dlc.rpf.
  • Fixed freemode clothes .ymt detection, so files like mp_m_freemode_01_xxx.ymt dont get detected as map files anymore.
  • Removed useless clothes conversion_log.txt output.
  • Added thanks badge for @sure_fuck and credits for grzybeek / grzyClothTool.
  • Updated info popups and warning windows with cleaner glass style and nicer rounded edges.
  • Improved Converter layout, moved Convert button on top, kept one at the bottom too, and hid the Legacy / Enhanced switch for now.

v0.5.0b — Patreon Access Gate

  • NexusV now asks for Patreon login before the main tool opens.
  • Server checks active Patreon membership online every launch, so no offline bypass stuff.
  • Added creator override, admin dashboard, and manual allowlist for people I want to hook up myself.
  • Added glowing in-app supporter badges: Verified Patreon Supporter, Verified Patreon Creator, or Verified Nexus Supporter.
  • Auth token is saved locally as an opaque server token, no email needed and no Patreon secret shipped in the app.
  • Fixed the login window closing issue after token verify, so the app continues straight into Nexus after a valid token.
  • Removed random build hash from the visible version label so it stays clean as v0.5.0b.

DLC Installer — Folder Scanner

  • NEW: Scan Folder button in the DLC installer - select a root folder and Nexus recursively finds all .rpf files inside subfolders.
  • Found DLCs shown in a checklist overlay with select all / deselect all — pick which ones to install, all checked by default.
  • Added path input box so you can paste a folder path and scan directly.
  • No more opening each subfolder and dragging files one by one when you got tons of DLCs.

AddonSpawner List — Add to Existing List

  • When using the AddonSpawner .list feature you can now choose to add vehicles into an existing .list file instead of always creating a new one.
  • Two modes: "Create New List" (same as before) and "Add to Existing List" which opens a picker window.
  • Picker window shows all current .list files from AddonSpawner/UserDLC/ as cards with list name and vehicle count.
  • Selected list displayed as a card under the toggle — click again to change selection.
  • Vehicles get merged, deduplicated and sorted automatically into the chosen list.
  • Works across all 3 flows: vehicle conversion, DLC merging, and the DLC.rpf installer under Extras.

DLC Map Marker (Nexus Only)

  • Map Marker window per DLC so u can pin where your maps are.
  • 3 built-in views + custom image option.
  • Markers saved per DLC + MARK badge on entries.
  • Open Map overview to see all markers + search bar.
  • Click a marker to pin the card + close inside the card.
  • Card shows pack name + path + open folder + disable or remove.
  • Set Cover per map + cover is copied to AppData so it stays.
  • Auto cleanup old cover files on startup.
  • Zoom, middle mouse pan, reset zoom, and scrollbars if u need.
  • Auto opens fullscreen but still resizable.
  • Note: only for Nexus sorting, not ingame map.
Preview

Main Conversion Screen

  • (MAP) Convert resources without a .ymap file and build an addon that loads and overlays in game.
  • (MAP) New overlay method with auto-split into 3 RPF archives (main assets, metadata + manifest, overlay files).
  • (MAP) Auto-detect base game vs custom files by scanning 244k+ game files and filtering converted packs.
  • (MAP) Auto-remove ingame prefixes from ymap/ybn files (apa_, hei_, bkr_, vw_, lr_, ch1_).
  • (MAP) Generate proper _manifest.ymf in PSO binary format with dependencies, MLO flags, and ytyp links.
  • (MAP) Auto-detect special files (audio, timecycle, water.xml, gtxd.meta) and place them correctly.

Vehicle Conversion Fixes

  • Meta files and stream files in root or subfolders are now detected and included.

Quick Additions / Missing Bits

  • Search mode in Extras scans all files including nested RPFs, with quick excludes.
  • Search results include copy-path and auto-wrapping paths for any window size.
  • New conversion.log stored in LocalAppData\N5, always overwriting old logs.
  • Settings includes Open Log Folder for quick access.
  • Removed manifest preview files and extra temp XMLs.

Batch DLC Cleanup

  • Auto-filter all ingame DLC packs to prevent accidental deletion.
  • Cleaner management by hiding base game packs from lists.
  • Search bar for quick filtering by name or path with selections preserved.
  • Easier selection of multiple packs without endless scrolling.

Install Addon DLC (.N5 folder)

  • Install Addon DLC now installs into /dlcpacks/.N5/.
  • dlclist.xml entries updated to use .N5 paths.
  • AddonSpawner .list export added to generate complete vehicle model lists.
  • New .list button in success window to open the file instantly.
  • Fixed dlc.pack installation by using proper setup2.xml nameHash.

Comparison Window

  • Fixed layout and scan system for better visibility in windowed mode.
  • Filtered ingame packs by default to avoid crashes.
  • Date badge on each entry for quick identification.
  • Filter dropdown for By Date, Alphabetical, or No Filter.

DLC List Editor

  • Filtered out ingame DLC packs by default to show only user packs.
  • XML entry cards use theme colors based on selected theme.
  • Badge system with long-life badges that return when a DLC is reinstalled.
  • Badge category filtering and quick select buttons.
  • Predefined badge quick select in badge dialog.
  • Cleaner DLC path display showing only pack name or subfolder.
  • Updated Edit and Add flow with live preview popup.
  • No need to add full path, just the pack name.
  • Layout fits the entire window for the main DLC Entries tab.
  • RAW XML moved to a button that opens a full editor window.
  • Reworked success message after cleaning entry and folder.
  • Added check boxes for multi-select entries.
  • Selection buttons for Uncheck All or Delete selected entries.
  • Delete DLC pack or keep it, your choice, Nexus handles the rest.

Environments Change

  • Environment toggle is WIP only (greyed out).
  • Hover info says its coming in a future update.
  • Hint text shows WIP for now.

Conversion (+Merging DLC Packs)

  • Fixed .ytd assets ending in wrong version or attributes after merging.
  • Fixed RCS7 magic for .yft files so they de/compress correctly.
  • Reworked NexusMessageBox formatting for better readability.
  • Fixed missing lang .rpf files on DLC merging packs.
  • Fixed missing Carcols.meta in merged packs with proper merging.
  • Fixed crash when merging 2 car DLCs that both have lang + effects data.
  • New modern spinner on conversion screen replaces the old one.

Known Issues & Limitations

  • Audio Editor is still under active development.
  • Encrypted or protected content cannot be converted.
  • Maps from older GTA V builds may not work on newer versions.
  • Leaked or pirated content is not supported.
  • Gen9 conversion is one-way only.
